The Chairperson shall appoint the chair of the Audit Committee, The Committee chair shall appoint a minimum of two other members to the committee. The Treasurer shall not be a member of this committee. Committee Shall give a annual report to the board. The committee shall be responsible for
- Reviewing the Treasurer’s records for accuracy with a focus on whether funds are properly disbursed and authorized, and proper accounting procedures are followed.
- Recommending an appropriate course of action to the Board when an audit is desired or becomes necessary.
